Lyocell is made with wood pulp from responsibly-sourced tree farms that grow on low-grade land unusable for food production. The fiber is created through the use of nanotechnology in an award-winning closed-loop process that recovers or decomposes all of its solvents and emissions. This process ensures that no toxic waste is dumped into the environment, which is the case with conventional rayon/viscose.
